I’m in my fifties and live in Norwich, Connecticut (in the Greeneville section). I work in Mystic, CT for a nationally-known maritime museum called Mystic Seaport as a Computer Technician. Details about my professional life are available at LinkedIn. A former liberal Democrat, I have grown to be more politically conservative in many of my views and believe in limiting government much more than I once did. (I think that happened when I bothered to read the constitution and see the path our country is on). In terms of my personal beliefs, I guess you could describe me as a “liberal evangelical.” I much prefer to be a follower of Jesus and hope to live in such a way that people might reach that conclusion. I’d rather be building a relationship with God than practicing a religion.
I attend Church on a regular basis and find it has added more to my life and walk with Jesus than I can put into words. I hope you can say the same and, if not, please visit one of the many fine churches that are probably near your location!
For it’s by God’s grace that you have been saved. You receive it through faith. It was not our plan or our effort. It is God’s gift, pure and simple. You didn’t earn it, not one of us did, so don’t go around bragging that you must have done something amazing. -Ephesians 2:8-9 (The VOICE)
